Affiliate and Multi-Level Marketing
Affiliate Marketing is a marketing practice wherein when you signed up for a company to be an affiliate, they give you a link or your own website to advertise, and every time someone buys from your link or your site, you earn a commission, and that's it. You concentrate on improving and advertising your link or your site. You are not required to recruit.
On the other hand, Multi-Level Marketing is a marketing practice wherein when you signed up under a company, you buy their products, sell them, recruit members who will buy and sell their products too. You get paid when someone buys from you, from your referrals, from your referrals referrals. That's why it's called multi-level marketing. You are required to recruit in order to earn.
Both marketing practices have its own pros and cons. Your choice would depend on what is it that suits your personality.
